I have a rule. First visit to any Indian restaurant, I order whatever comes off the tandoor first.
It tells you everything about the kitchen.

The Tandoori Mix Grill at Indian Accent is ten pieces across six different cuts. The char on the outside is right. The marinade on the Malai Murg Tikka — cashew paste and cream — is the kind that makes you slow down and actually pay attention.

The Lamb Cutlets were the ones the table fought over. The Sheek Kebab came out with fresh coriander on top and tasted like someone actually cared about the garnish.

We nearly didn't make it to mains. We did, and the mains were also excellent, but the grill is what I'll be thinking about tomorrow.

$29.99 for the full platter. $20.99 for the half if you want to be sensible about it. I wouldn't be sensible about it.

This is also on every private dining package. If you're booking the room for a group, it lands on your table as part of the entree spread.

The plan was always going to change. Ten pieces. Six different tandoor cuts. Chicken Tikka, Malai Murg Tikka, Tangri Kebab, Lollipop, Lamb Cutlets, Sheek Kebab.

All out of the same tandoor, all landing on the table at once. There's no light option after you've seen this platter. Full for $29.99. Half for $20.99 if you're still trying to be sensible about it.
