A special wedding cake I had the absolute pleasure of baking this week 💕
Still a bit of a pinch-me moment when people trust me to make things like this 🥹

And now… I am having a MUCH needed weekend OFF. You heard it. Georgie’s is having a little sleep this weekend 😂

Because next week is a big one.

I have the absolute honour of catering for Rainbow Beach State School’s 40 year celebration — the school I went to as a kid, and now the school my own kids go to. How amazing is that!!! 💙

But before I head back home for a beautiful night under the stars, I’ll be at the Cooloola Classic Car Club Show & Shine at the Gympie Showgrounds!

Have I potentially bitten off more than I can chew? Probably 😂
But luckily I seem to thrive when I have approximately zero free seconds in my day.

It’s not only a celebration of everything our little school has achieved and a look back at 40 years of history, there’ll also be amazing food 😉, live music, delicious cake, and an art auction featuring work from local artists and students.

(& potential stall holders who might be free on the last Sunday of the month)🍓🥰

The Kilkivan Markets & community would like to express their gratitude for the regular stall-holders and everyone new who’s coming to town: without you selling your wares, handmade creations, pre-loved goods, and delicious food and beverages, none of this would be possible! Get the word out & tell your friends to come along for a day of fun in the fresh country air supporting local, perusing the stalls, and enjoying free activities & games for all ages.. Thank you for your support and efforts it takes to come out each month,

What to expect? 🌼🐴

The forecast calls for a beautiful sunny Sunday in Kilkivan!
We start at 8am, with volunteers arriving 6am onwards, and ask that you have your stall set up & your car out of the way before 7:50am so everyone can safely get the day started. A warm jacket comes highly recommended as it’s still very cold in the early morning, but warms up once the sun is out.

We ask that you please fill out a market form if you haven’t already, you will find it linked below and on our facebook. Please bring cash to pay for your market stall. Our volunteers will collect it during the day and take your details if you have not filled out your form.

Another jam packed weekend for the Georgies team. When I say team, I’m referring to my beautiful little family that follow me just about everywhere. Adapting to whatever environment they are in!
We had an awesome time at Buxton Bush Camp again!! These guys know how to put on an event!! We will definitely be back whenever we can get there!

Home now for a quick restock and then off again on Wednesday to Kawana for the Sunshine Coast Radio Sailing Club Regatta ⛵️

There’s something about being up with the sun that just hits different, or maybe it’s because the coffee machine is up with me 🤣
Today Georgie’s is in Maryborough for a cricket carnival.
Next weekend you’ll find us back at Buxton Bush Camp for their rock fest!! And after a super quick break to restock, we are heading to Kawana for the Sunshine Coast Radio Sailing Club 2026 Regatta.
