Do I Need to Pay or Renew Anything with Marine Rescue Queensland?
Short answer: NO‼️😎👏 Here's what local boaters need to know.

Marine Rescue Queensland (MRQ) is a state-wide emergency service, and our help is here for everyone on the water. There are no membership fees, no subscriptions, and nothing to renew. Our volunteers are here for local boaters when you need us - looking after our waters and ready to respond.

For our former VMR members: under the old system, boat owners paid an annual subscription that included a free tow. With the transition to MRQ, that membership system no longer exists...so if you've been wondering how to renew, you don't need to. 😁

If you ever get into trouble on the water, call us on 131 MRQ (131 677) or reach us by radio. We'll be there to respond when you need us.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported VMR over the years.💙 Your contribution built the strong volunteer service that continues today under MRQ.
