Every now and then, someone writes something that reminds us why we started 5TW in the first place.

Preston Market is loud. It’s busy. It’s chaotic. Yet somehow, for one customer, a Southern Chicken Burger made everything else disappear.

“The random noise, the screaming children, the table beneath me, the past, the future. Just me and that burger.”

Meet Billy Bob Chicken.

He spends his mornings playing guitar on the farm, his afternoons writing country hits, and his evenings inspiring Melbourne’s tastiest Southern Chicken Burger.

Crispy hand-crumbed chicken, smoky TW sauce, American cheese, bacon, pickles, lettuce and tomato — stacked higher than a country singer’s hat.

This winter, we’d love to take things a little closer to home.

At 5TW, we’re all about bold flavours and pushing creative boundaries. So for our next Winter Special, we’re thinking of celebrating the incredible flavours of Australia — while adding the unique Japanese-inspired twist that has become our signature.

Introducing our concept:

A burger inspired by the Australian landscape, packed with native ingredients, bold flavours and the 5TW touch.

This winter, we want to embrace what makes Australian produce and native ingredients so special. From pepperberry and finger lime to wattle seed and macadamia, we’d love to explore more of these incredible flavours and showcase them in a way that’s uniquely 5TW.

From sourcing quality ingredients and fresh produce to creating our sauces and components in-house, we’re passionate about controlling every step of the process to deliver the best possible experience.
