And finally, the cat is out of the bag!

I am beyond excited to be bringing a little French and fabulous to this year’s Spring Racing Carnival, with Entrecôte Entrecôte taking centre stage at LANDMARK by LEXUS across all four days of racing.

And of course, a little Parisian mischief on the side, with Gigi Gigi - a "Euro centric" bar by Entrecôte shaking things up and serving fabulous cocktails in the intimate Vinyl Bar…

In a meeting of French art de vivre and Japanese omotenashi, there is something rather special about bringing Entrecôte together with Lexus’ vision of A New Dawn and the beautiful philosophy of Akebono - the first light of a new day. A celebration of new beginnings, considered craftsmanship, exceptional hospitality and those little moments that make an experience truly unforgettable.

Together with Lexus and the extraordinary team at Big Group, we’re looking forward to creating something quite magnifique on and off the track this year. Thankyou to Gourmet Traveller for the shoutout and Lexus Australia we cannot wait…

A little French flair, a little Japanese elegance, a great deal of ch*****ne and, naturellement, hospitality par excellence.

Some classics are simply too good to retire. Our duck à l’orange arrives with all the confidence of a dish that has never needed to follow a trend.

There’s a reason we remain so fond of the French classics. Someone, somewhere, understood that a beautiful steak deserved a generous sauce, and that leaving any behind would require potatoes. Steak au Poivre. Everything has been thought of.

When we built Greville Street nearly six years ago, our mission was always to make it feel as though Entrecôte had already been here for ten years …lived in, loved, warm, inviting, a little bit imperfect, and full of stories waiting to be told.

We wanted it to feel less like a new restaurant and more like a Maison that had evolved over time, somewhere you could walk through the door and instantly feel at home just as it felt in Domain Rd.

And now, nearly six years on, I think it feels even more like the place we dreamed of creating.

The tables, the paintings, the art, the flowers, the laughter, the late nights, the familiar faces… all those little layers of life that you simply can’t manufacture.

So much of what we hoped for when we opened Greville Street has become reality and so much of it has found its way into the pages of Entrecôte, Depuis 2015.

A restaurant and its community isn’t really built in a day… it’s built over years, by the people who walk through its doors and become part of its story.

There’s something rather wonderful about giving the humble potato the best seat in the house. A little crème fraîche, a little caviar, and suddenly we’re making an occasion of it. As we should.
