Thanks Gourmet Traveller for including us in the Top 100 AUS/Top NSW List, on newsstands this month

It reflects a wider team effort, led by Ben and Chloe, and the suppliers and diners who support us.

It is a privilege to be in “TEAM REGIONAL DINING” with Bistro Livi representing our local The Tweed Savour The Tweed are and past event collaborator like EXP. restaurant Frank Fawkner Three Blue Ducks Darren Robertson in the 32 x Regional venues on the national list. Also so proud to see Pipit alumni, chef Samuel Bartlett Roylance as a QLD finalist for the GT New Talent Award too!

In 2019, in our opening week I wrote a love letter to Ben Devlin that literally joked “See you at Gourmet Traveller”. It wasn’t defining success but it indicated a flag post - to be ambitious, to strive for excellence, to shoot your shot.
7 years later, we don’t take this recognition for granted.

THANKS Gourmet Traveller for still seeing us and other small, regional, independent businesses too.

VIETNAMESE RETURNS TO POTTSVILLE (Father's Day Opening)

Locals might remember how Vietnamese started as a rapid takeaway pivot in 2020 lockdowns.

It's coming BACK to Pipit Restaurant as a new updated version and it's first time being DINE-IN

A Vietnamese-inspired menu showcasing the best of local Northern Rivers produce, with signature noodles and fresh flavours from the wood-fire grill.

PIPIT ON TOUR
A CEO excursion to see the new space of GRIT CERAMICS

Ceramics go hand-in-hand with the food, dining journey, look & feel of Pipit. At last count we have some 50+ Grit Ceramic shapes and sizes collected over 7 years

It’s been a joy to watch them grow from being a few doors down from us in Pottsville to bigger kiln, bigger Murwillumbah space, more venues

When we’ve dined at places like Norte, Haven, Raes, Feu, I always play the game of “Is that a Grit?” and we are pretty good at expert-spotting them!

The surplus sale is still on today (SUN 23 AUG) to find some Pipit designs and much more
