— The closing of a chapter —

At the end of this week on Saturday, I’ll be standing behind my Beans & Brew coffee machine one last time. An exciting new career change is waiting for me mid February which means my coffee making days are about to come to an end. This has not been a decision that has been made lightly nor has it been easy, as this sweet little community that we have means so much to me.

When I bought the cafe, I was just a girl that had not long moved from Sydney, and really didn’t know anyone from around here. I’d never worked in hospitality and I’d never owned a business before. A crazy decision that has turned out to be one of the best things I’ve ever done.

Thank you for creating such a warm and inviting space that we’ve all enjoyed.

The banter, the laughter and everything in between that these four walls have absorbed brings a big smile to my face, and I leave knowing that the next set of hands to run the cafe will love you all just as much as I have!

More details to come regarding what’s happening next with the cafe, but don’t fear you won’t be without good coffee for too long!
