The walls of the old Poonindie Mission school have been fixed.
Now its time for a ‘new’ roof.
Then a white-wash.
Exciting spruce-up and well-deserved, as it has stood for over a 150 years.
We would love to obtain some second-hand old galv iron - can be rustic (a bit on the rusty side) or a bit better stuff. We don’t need a lot as it’s only a small building. Please let me know if you have some spare or know where we can get some. Some timber will be required; some of it is still good.
And we would be very grateful if any tradesmen/handymen would like to assist with the re-roofing.
Thankyou
Josie
