If you’re roaming around visiting the local area - or driving past on your travels - and find yourself needing a "whim-induced" pit stop, do yourself a favor and pull over here! We stumbled upon this gem on our way back, and honestly, our hearts (and stomachs) are still doing a happy dance.
Here’s why this place is a total vibe:
Peace, Quiet, and a large Cow: It’s tucked just far enough off the road that the only "traffic noise" you’ll hear is the wind in the trees. There is plenty of parking / including wheelchair / disability access, and heaps of space to lounge. Also, pro tip: Do not leave without a photo with the large, adorable cow statue. Life is too short for boring vacation photos! 🐄📸
Cheese Heaven: We kicked things off with a cheese tasting next door (the flavors? Chef’s kiss 😙 see our other similar review for them).
We then walked through to next door (literally) to find the ultimate cozy cafe: Lime Leaf Cafe!!
A beautiful cafe that seems to double as an art / gift gallery. Check out the most gorgeous clocks!!! I was going to purchase one after the meal and only remembered after I left! Was so disappointed!! They even have a "book library corner" with loads of books, and chairs so comfy you can almost always accidentally take a nap. 😴📚😊
Breakfast for Lunch? Yes Please! Their all-day breakfast menu is a total winner. The lady chef is an absolute ray of sunshine—joyful, fast, and clearly a wizard in the kitchen because our food arrived piping hot and delicious and the wait time was not long at all! Her absolute charm and warm customer service left us with such genuine “feel good feels” the entire afternoon. 💜
The Local "Staff": We ate outside - where there are plenty of seating options - and were joined by Lucy, the property’s resident fluffy sweetheart dog. She is a professional at receiving pats and was sweet enough to share her company (though we restricted her to just one tiny bite of food to be safe due to dietary uncertainty!).
A Wild Surprise: Just as we were...(continue reading in the photo) - AmandaD
