Spring has officially arrived in the Hunter Valley — and apparently, September is a pretty big month for birthdays too. Which means there’s plenty of reason to gather, raise a glass and make a meal of it.

Wonderful outlook, terrific food sensation with excellent service from attentive, friendly staff even with the children nothing was to much trouble. Have been to many restaurants in the Hunter region and this is one of the best if not the best. Will definitely go again. ❞

BEFORE THE MENU CHANGES...

Every menu has its moment. Our current menu has been with us through the season, and there are still dishes we're not quite ready to say goodbye to.

But behind the scenes, Chef Brian and the team are already looking ahead. A new menu is taking shape — with Ora King Salmon, lobster and prawns, market fish, Berkshire pork, seasonal produce and some rather interesting new flavour combinations.

We're keeping the details under wraps for now.

Some dads like flowers. Some prefer a good glass of whisky. Some prefer a vintage wine. This Father’s Day, we are keeping things decidedly more gentlemanly at HQ.

Start with our Sunday Lunch Experience, then stay awhile for an afternoon of good company, great music and a few of life’s finer pleasures.

Think aged cheeses, award winning wines, premium ports, craft beers and fine whisky, accompanied by blues, jazz and classic rock on our personalised sounds. And for those who like to take the full gentleman’s route… premium ci**rs will be available to complete the afternoon.
