Over the past few weeks, you may have noticed some changes on the Bark Hut page. Many of you have been wondering what’s been happening behind the scenes, and now the time has come for us to share our news.
After 7 incredible years, the time has come for us to say goodbye to the Bark Hut Inn.
What started as a dream became so much more than just a business. It became a place filled with friendships, laughter, celebrations, challenges, milestones, and countless memories that we’ll carry with us forever.
The Bark Hut has been a meeting place, a watering hole, a home away from home for travellers, and a gathering place for locals. It has been a privilege to be part of so many stories, and we’re incredibly grateful for every person who walked through our doors.
To our staff, locals, travellers, suppliers, friends, family, and every customer who stopped in along the way—thank you. Your support, loyalty, encouragement, and friendship have meant more to us than words can say.
As we hand over the keys, we’d like to wish the new owners every success and happiness in the years ahead. We hope they come to love this special place as much as we have and create many wonderful memories of their own.
Thank you for being part of our journey. While this chapter is coming to an end, we’ll always look back on our time at the Bark Hut Inn with immense pride, gratitude, and a whole lot of fond memories.
