Situated in the coastal village of Point Lookout, just a 5-minute drive from Main Beach and the North Gorge Walk, Pandanus Palms Resort is the perfect base for exploring Straddie’s magnificent surf beaches, inland lakes and diverse wildlife. Each villa offers a fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher and oven, laundry with dryer, TV and WI-FI access, ceiling fans and/or air-conditioning, and a private leafy courtyard with BBQ. The North Gorge headland at Point Lookout is considered one of the best land-based whale watching sites in the world. Between June-October, from your Pandanus Palms villa, you can witness whales migrating between their home in the Antarctic and the Great Barrier Reef. This is an experience not to be missed! Stradbroke Flyer and SeaLink companies operate regular vehicle and passenger ferries from Toondah Harbour in Cleveland, to Dunwich Ferry Terminal on North Stradbroke Island. The passenger ferry takes just 25 minutes, and the vehicle ferry takes just 45 minutes. For updated ferry times and prices, please visit the ferry company websites. Advance bookings are highly recommended for vehicular travel. On North Stradbroke Island, ferries are met by the local bus company, which takes visitors to Dunwich, Amity Point, and Point Lookout. Pandanus Palms Resort is a 20-minute drive from Dunwich Ferry Terminal.
