The weekend specials are here! Now for the hard part- which one will you order? 🍽🤤

🐑Oven Roasted Lamb Rump (GF)- served with a capsicum peppernate, broccolini and rosemary roasted kipfler potatoes.

🐷Roasted Pork Belly (GF)- Served with celeriac puree, creamy mash, pickled fennel, an apple c***r jus and crispy sage.

🦑Squid Ink Lobster Linguini- Squid ink linguini tossed with succulent lobster, prawns and mussels in a rich velvety lobster bisque finished with garlic, fresh herbs and a touch of lemon.

🍕Tartufata Pizza- Entree- A rich truffle cream base topped with prosciutto, red onion and creamy buffalo mozzarella, baked until golden and finished with aromatic truffle oil and fresh rocket.

🌷Spring Cutlet Lamb Salad (GF)- Char grilled marinated spring lamb cutlets (3) served with a light and bright spring salad of mixed lettuce leaves, chervil, mint, baby cucumber, heirloom cherry tomatoes, blanched asparagus, avocado and parmesan, finished with a honey Dijon vinaigrette and petite flowers.

🕰 THROWBACK THURSDAY 🌀
As a follow on from last week- we are throwing it back to 1976 again. 50 years ago the pub was moved back 50 metres to make room for highway expansions. The hotel was cut into two pieces and moved on the back of two trucks. In the whole process- amazingly- not a single louver was broken!!

As of 5pm today you can get your hands on some of these delicious dishes from QLD's best regional bistro!

🥩 Mate's Meat Platter for Two- 1.5kg Diamantina heritage tomahawk SB 6-7 rubbed in a mild steak rub, whole char-grilled corn cob tossed in maple spiced butter, 200g popcorn chicken bites, tossed in chilli-infused hot honey (mild), creamy slaw, a side of house-seasoned chips and TWO gravies!

🥢 Wagyu Beef Spring Rolls- 4 crispy house-made spring rolls filled with tender pulled wagyu beef, onion, carrots and melted cheese. Served with a sweet chilli soy lime dipping sauce.

🍛Shredded Beef in Peking Sauce- tossed in a sweet and savoury Peking sauce with onion, carrots and capsicum. Served with fragrant garlic fried rice.

🐔Tuscan Chicken Risotto - Creamy chicken risotto enriched with spinach and sun-dried tomato parmesan butter, topped with tender marinated slices of Tuscan chicken.

🕰 THROWBACK THURSDAY 🌀
Today we are throwing it back 50 years to 1976- the year the pub was moved back 50 metres from the old highway. While the premise was being moved Bob and Julie were granted permission to trade in a temporary premises- and the temporary bar was in operation! Who had a drink here?
These days you can see the corrugated facade of the temporary bar installed above our bar in the gaming room.

The chefs have been working hard and our SUMMER MENU is coming!! Expect to see some new tasty dishes as of the 28th on our main menu- and an update to our breakfast menu on the 29th 🥞 🥓 🍳
