We were so excited to recently welcome Jessie from RAC Horizons to Café Chérie as part of their Small Town Spotlight on our beautiful town of Pinjarra.

It was wonderful to be included alongside other local businesses and people who make Pinjarra such a special place to visit, explore and support. ❤️

And, of course, we loved seeing our very own Lily featured! Those who know Café Chérie know that our owners Lily and Julien are usually the one’s working tirelessly behind the scenes, so it was lovely to see Lily sit down, relax for a moment and chat with Jessie about the café and our little corner of Pinjarra.

A huge thank you to RAC Horizons, Jessie and the entire production team for shining a light on our town and putting together such a wonderful feature showcasing what our local community has to offer.

We’ve added a couple of extras to the menu this weekend… because apparently Dad deserves more than just socks. 😉

🍹 DARK & STORMY
Spiced rum, ginger beer and lime — available all weekend and very easy to justify as a “weekend treat”.

150g sirloin, caramelised onions, tomato, fried egg & creamy pepper sauce, served with baked potatoes.

It's back... and yes, we've been waiting for it too.

Our traditional 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗳 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗼𝗻 has returned for winter, slow-cooked until the beef is melt-in-your-mouth tender, with hearty vegetables in a rich, full-bodied red wine sauce. Served with toasted sourdough, it's the kind of meal that warms you from the inside out.

Simple. Rustic. Comforting. Just honest French cooking done the way it should be.

It's one of those dishes that disappears from the menu every summer... and somehow everyone starts asking for it the moment the weather cools down. We get it. 😉

Some combinations just work.

Our Pumpkin Tartine starts with toasted sourdough, layered with creamy goat's cheese, roasted honey-glazed pumpkin, crunchy pumpkin seeds and finished with a drizzle of pumpkin oil.

It's completely vegetarian, with a gluten-free option available, and has quietly become one of those dishes our regulars keep coming back for.
