Wollondilly Support and Community Care Incorporated (WSACCI) t/as IC Care is a community based inclusive and diverse employer. We are a not-for-profit organisation that provides the following services: - Meals on Wheels, Social Support Individual and Social Support Groups, Transport and NDIS services to the communities of Wollondilly and Camden areas.
IC Care has the opportunity to employ a Casual Program Officer to facilitate the Social Support Groups. This position is fast paced, working at our Camden and Picton offices.
The role will include, but is not limited to, tasks such as:
β’ Flexibility to be able to work 4 days per week and hours with day / evening programs
β’ Facilitating Group programs within the organisation with a fun and vibrant approach
β’ Supervise and inspire staff and volunteers to deliver lively and meaningful activities and foster a positive team culture.
β’ Ensure the program meets and maintains all Work Health and Safety requirements
β’ Ensure the program complies with the funding agreements
Key Selection Criteria:
β’ Provide evidence of Certificate IV in Aged, Disability or Community Services with a minimum of 2 years Aged Care Industry experience or equivalent
β’ Knowledge of the Aged Care Act 2025
β’ Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the Commonwealth Home Support Program incorporating the Wellness and Reablement Approach and Consumer Directed Care
β’ Demonstrate experience in setting up and running activity programs for individuals and/or groups
β’ Demonstrate the ability to bring a fun, vibrant and motivating approach to group programs, including the capacity to inspire staff and volunteers, revitalise program environment, and provide firm, confident supervision when required
β’ Demonstrate ability to build and maintain relationships both in the workplace and the community
β’ Demonstrate and provide examples of good communication and written skills
β’ Demonstrated experience with a cross selection of clients e.g. CALD, Aboriginal, Dementia, Mental Health, Frail Aged, Younger People with a Disability and their Carers
β’ Provide evidence of a current NSW Drivers Licence
β’ Provide evidence of Light Rigid driverβs licence or willingness to obtain licence within one month of becoming successful in the position
β’ Provide evidence of current First Aid Certificate
β’ Provide evidence of NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
β’ Microsoft office skills
Desired Requirements:
β’ Experience in cash handling and petty cash reconciliation
β’ Experience in assessing and reassessing clients
The pay structure for this role will be governed by the SCHADS award Level 3 and will include salary packaging and superannuation. The hourly rate commences at $40.49 plus casual loadings.
