There’s more to discover in Peterborough than you might expect.

We talk a lot about encouraging people to visit regional South Australia, and for us, Flinders Ranges – A Brush with Art is the perfect excuse to do exactly that.
Come for the art, but give yourself time to explore.

Discover the different A Brush with Art venues around Peterborough, support our local businesses, stop for something to eat, explore some of the town’s history and heritage, and experience a little of what makes our part of regional South Australia special.

And, of course, we'd love you to make Quentin Park Alpacas & Studio Gallery one of your stops while you're here. 🦙

Our Wild Threads: Art, Land & Renewal exhibition opens on Saturday, 5 September at 11am, alongside Growing Together, our community artwork that everyone can help create.

But don't just come to Peterborough to visit us.
Make a day of it. Explore the town. Visit the other venues. Support local. See what you discover.

Sometimes the best days out are the ones where you take the time to look a little further.

🍃 Stories Behind the Shelves | Story No. 7

Everybody knows Australia grows grapes and makes wine.
Most people are surprised to learn we grow tea too.

That's one of the reasons we love working with Australian-grown teas and tea blends at Quentin Park Alpacas & Studio Gallery.

In fact, our entire Farm-to-Cup Herbal Tea Experience started because we became fascinated by where tea comes from—and just how many different plants can be used to create it.

Some of the teas you'll find in our Farm Shop have travelled fewer kilometres than many imported teas travel before they even reach Australia.
And that matters.

Not because we're against imported tea.
But because we think it's pretty special when you can sit down with a cup of tea and know exactly where it came from.

Every sip has a story.
Every leaf started somewhere.
And knowing that connection somehow makes the experience just a little more meaningful.

Plus, it gives us another excuse to talk about plants... which, if you've visited Quentin Park Alpacas & Studio Gallery, you'll know we don't need much encouragement to do!

🤎 PS: Next time you're visiting Quentin Park Alpacas & Studio Gallery, take a little time to explore our range of Australian-grown teas. You might just discover a new favourite—and a new appreciation for what's growing right here in Australia.

Stories Behind the Shelves — because every product has a story worth telling.

WAKE UP IN THE PADDOCK.

Alpaca Paddock 1 by Tiny Away is a comfortable tiny house set among the everyday sights and sounds of Quentin Park Alpacas & Studio Gallery, just outside Peterborough in regional South Australia.

Inside, you’ll find a kitchenette, private bathroom with a hot shower, air conditioning and Wi-Fi. Outside, there’s open country, a fire pit, dark skies and alpacas for neighbours—not a bad change from the usual hotel view.

Guests can explore our designated farm trail and gardens, then visit the farm shop and café during opening hours. Peterborough’s shops, attractions, cafés and pubs are also nearby.

If you’re searching for Peterborough accommodation—or something more memorable than a standard Peterborough hotel—come and stay on an actual working farm.

We have four Alpaca Paddock tiny houses, each available through a separate listing on the Tiny Away website.

Farm Friday... and we need your help! 🦙🤎

My one job this week has been to get a decent photo or video of our newest little girl so you can help us choose her name...

It turns out that's much harder than it sounds because her mum, Dottie, keeps moving her away every time I get close! 😂

We've named all of this season's crias, but this little lady is still waiting for the perfect name.

So... what do you think we should call her? Drop your suggestions in the comments! 👇🤎

To the Bashers whose plans haven't quite gone to plan this week…

We know there are a lot of disappointed people around the region right now.

The rain around Mundi Mundi has created an incredibly difficult situation — for the people who have travelled a very long way to be there, and for the organisers who have had to make some heartbreaking decisions.

For some of you, that means the trip you planned looks very different today.

If those changed plans bring you through Peterborough, we'd really like you to know that you're welcome at Quentin Park Alpacas.

We've already had a number of Bash travellers staying with us this week, and we've opened up a few additional bush camping spots for fully self-contained caravans and RVs. If you're looking for somewhere to pull up on your way through, give us a call or text and we'll do our best to find you a spot.

And even if you don't need somewhere to stay, come and say hello.

Stop for a coffee, wander through the Farm Shop, stretch your legs and meet the alpacas. If you make a purchase in the Café or Farm Shop, we'll give you a complimentary bowl of alpaca feed.... Because we're pretty convinced that alpacas make most crappy days at least a little bit better - however biased we might be!

We're also happy to extend our opening hours where we can. If you're not going to make it to Peterborough during our normal hours, just give us a call or text and let us know your plans. We'll do our best to work around you.

We know it doesn't replace the festival experience you were expecting. We just don't want a really disappointing change of plans to be the only thing you remember about your trip through our part of the world.

Hopefully we can add one good thing to the story — even if it's just a coffee, a safe place to pull up, and our alpaca babies making you smile.

And to the Mundi Mundi team — we're thinking of you too. We can only imagine the work, decisions and heartbreak behind the scenes this week.

If you're heading our way, please travel safely.

The gate is open and the alpacas are just hanging out.

Meet Quentin Park Alpacas & Studio Gallery.

If A Brush with Art has introduced you to Quentin Park Alpacas & Studio Gallery, we'd love to properly introduce ourselves.

We're a working alpaca farm just outside Peterborough, where art, alpacas, creativity and farm life all come together.

You can meet our alpacas, browse the farm shop, enjoy something from the café, stay a little longer in our peaceful farm stay, or simply slow down and take in the views across the paddocks.

Everything we do begins with the place we call home.

From the alpacas that produce our fibre, to the artwork inspired by the landscape, to the handmade products you'll find in our farm shop, every part of Quentin Park Alpacas & Studio Gallery has a story to tell.

We're proud to call Peterborough home, and as you explore the region during Flinders Ranges – A Brush with Art, we hope you'll discover everything that makes this part of South Australia so special.

Whether you're planning a day trip, a relaxing farm stay, exploring Peterborough, or simply looking for somewhere a little different, we'd love to welcome you to Quentin Park Alpacas & Studio Gallery.

We look forward to sharing more of our story with you over the coming weeks.
