Seeing Momo’s and more on the big screen in the heart of Claremont made me more emotional than I expected🥹❤️
Because for us, this is not just a business.Thjs is a little piece of our family Story.
The recipe comes from my childhood in Nepal 🇳🇵 from my parents’s kitchen to ours❤️
My husband and I are putting everything we have into Momo’s and more. He is the chef behind the kitchen and honestly, he carries so much of this business on his shoulders. I’m beside him helping wherever I can - but when it comes to our Momos, they hold a very special place in my ❤️
When we were kids, my mum and dad had their own restaurant, especially known for momo, chow mein and taas. Growing up with my five sisters and our youngest brother, we watched our parents work incredibly hard. We saw their patience, their sacrifices, the long days, and how they somehow kept a business going while raising such a big family.At that age, I probably didn’t understand how much they were teaching us. NOW I DO.
Years later, here I am making momos using what I learned from my parents, standing beside my husband as we build our own little business, while raising our two little boys❤️.Sometimes I look at our boys and think about how we once watched our parents working so hard… and now our children are watching us.
That feeling is hard to put into words.
There are tiring days. There are stressful days. There are days when balancing the business, marriage and family life feels like a lot. But there is also so much love behind what we are building.So when you see Momo’s & More, you're not just seeing a menu or a plate of momos.
You're seeing my parents' recipe and lessons travelling all the way from Nepal to our little family here.🇳🇵❤️🇦🇺
