This August, we’re once again proud to be part of Plateful Perth, inviting you to experience the flavours of France without leaving the Swan River.

Executive Chef Troy Melia has created a four-course menu inspired by timeless French cuisine, from classic beef tartare and slow-cooked duck cassoulet to a decadent Valrhona chocolate finale. To make the experience even more memorable, add our optional French wine and Cognac pairing.

Few wineries have shaped the reputation of Margaret River quite like Moss Wood . For more than five decades, its wines have helped define the region’s style, character and place on the world stage.

This dinner brings that story to the table through six Moss Wood wines, each paired with a course that draws on premium Western Australian produce. Margaret River venison, Lake Preston Wagyu and fresh Denmark black truffle all feature across a menu created to complement the elegance, balance and depth for which Moss Wood is known.

If you wait all year for truffle season, this one’s for you.

It all begins with an Albany Rock Oyster.

Baked with rich truffle béchamel, finished with walnut and Gruyère pangrattato, it’s the first taste of a four-course degustation dedicated to one of winter’s most sought-after ingredients.

From there, the menu continues through Denmark marron, 45-day Great Southern Black Angus and a dessert that proves truffle belongs right through to the final course.

To complete the experience, add our optional wine pairing from Singlefile | Great Southern , showcasing the elegance and character that have made the Great Southern one of Australia’s most exciting wine regions.
