Bit of an interesting comparison ; 50 vs 55 vs 60 grams of seed all started the same day. Some obvious difference in leaf size ! More seeds = smaller darker leaves on average. Not quite a fair comparison as the 60 gram tray was a little under watered, limiting growth somewhat but the overall trend is observable. How many grams per 1020 tray of purple radish do you use ?

Our harvest work station. 6 x 50 L tubs with 1020's stacked high. We get around 24kgs per 70 x 1020's using an 8 variety mix. We find this system of things work pretty well for what we do but have some ideas to improve - any hot tips from my fellow growers ? 😉

Red Deer, Coral, Red streaks, Flame trees are just some of the names this goes by ! How about where you come from ? Always a stunner and with a near wasabi kick to it. This is an easy fast growing variety and a feature in our cut product - our mix is not dainty - we go bood ! :-)

The awesome Green Mizuna doing green Mizuna things. Does grow/is Growing like crazy. It has a cool featured leaf and is a big ingredient in our mixed cut product. To boot the seed is incredibly inexpensive - what is not too like about it ? 🤔

Microgreens growing system R+D. Potted crops, low profile. Never perfected, always learning. Here we have some Rocket, Purple Tatsoi, Chervil, Dill, Purple Mizuna, Lemon Balm, Watercress, Purple Shiso, Green Shiso, Red Mizuna, Coriander, Chives and Radish....with some Peppermint, Celery and Italian Parsely still germinating. This is day 8 😀

Vertical farming Microgreens. There's a bit going on in the picture. Four different varieties - can you name them all ? Roof mounted wiring. A powerful split system AC. Single daisy chain cables linking each shelf level. Airwalls. Our microtech lighting system in combination with our shelving system running 150mm shelf heights. End access only slide out grow trays. Central Aiselway only. Its neat, its compact, its robust, its simple. This is MK1 version.

Looking up from below at some Red Shiso aka Red Perilla - encased by some of our growing tech. These are one of the OGs of the Microgreens industry and remain very popular to this day. Seed can be fickle but get a good batch and the right conditions they can grow to this comfortably in 2 weeks. One of the most incredible bouquets of any Microgreens wouldn't you agree ?

Good ol live potted Celery Microgreens, in sleeves ready for wholesale customers. It's a lot of extra work bagging up each microgreen seperately but its an ideal solution for individual sales as the sleeve is quite protective. Whats your solution for individual sales of live product ?

Layer upon layer of Swiss Chard Microgreens grown in 1020 trays - mainly for the red stems. We much prefer growing this over beets because its just so vigorous and almost never fails. We're at 40 grams of seed in these photos - how many grams are you at ? 😳

A nice harvest of Purple Radish - in this case it goes by the of "Sango". Hard to get this wrong - but just dont leave it too long ! This is absolute must just about every microgreens grower, wouldn't you agree ? 😀

Start of harvest day - radish goes first. We use 6 x 50l tubs - good for around 4kgs of mixed microgreens per tub or 24kgs total. By the time I finish the harvest and packing its good full day of work !! Working on some ways of speeding up harvest day - a mechanised harvester being one project - does anyone have any tricks of the trade they might be willing to share ?

Radish screaming out to go under lights ! This is one of the fastest and easiest to grow of all microgreens crops. This one is Daikon radish. Whats your go to green radish variety ? 🤔

Swiss Chard ready for harvest, well it could go longer but harvest day is calling. These get 1 week under lights after 7 days in germination, pretty hard to beat the growth rate when it comesto growing reds, or in this case the red stems is really what we're growing these for - to make our cut mix pop ! 😊

An absolute ripper of a Red Vein Sorrel pot today ! Looks like we might have to decrease the amount of seed we use as the germination rate must be near to 100% - what do you think 🤔
