This absolute masterpiece was made by the talented Arianna’s Little Bakery. We were so blown away by this beautiful beast we almost refrained from eating her altogether. Unfortunately we lack self-control, so this cake was quickly demolished by our very grateful staff. And with a wonderful gathering of customers and staff, and a speech and cake-cutting by Basil and Giannina, we ended our 20th birthday with lots of joy, gratitude, and sugar 🥹🫶

Today we’re celebrating 20 glorious years of Basil’s Fine Foods, and we’ve never been more proud to serve our wonderful community!
To our magnificent customers, our incredible team, our passionate suppliers, and everyone who has walked through our doors over the years — thank you. Your support, loyalty, and kindness has made Basil’s more than just a place to shop; you’ve helped form a true community.
Thank you for letting us be part of your family gatherings, your special milestones, and your everyday moments. Every visit, conversation, and smile reminds us why we love what we do and why we continue to serve the Mindarie community.
We hope to celebrate with as many of you as we can at our 20th Anniversary Market Day tomorrow.

Crunchbox have been a supplier of ours for years now, so when they offered to donate some hampers for our customers in honour of our 20th birthday, we were thrilled!
With 2 hampers up for grabs, you’ll have a chance to win either one by purchasing any Crunchbox product from Basil’s Fine Foods between today, Thursday 2nd July, and next Wednesday, 8th July, by 8pm. For every item purchased, you’ll receive the same number of entries (AKA 5 peanut butter bars equals 5 entries). Simply put your name and number on your receipt(s) and pop them into the box located at cafe.
The winners will be announced on Thursday 9th July at midday. But don’t worry — for those who don’t win, we’ll be sampling their peanut butter bars at our Market Day on Saturday 11th July 😋
