Dear Patrons,

As many of you are aware that Malaysian Gourmet Pty Ltd shop underwent 2 name changes. We want to make it clear that “Malaysian Gourmet Pty Ltd” and “Malaysian Gourmet Nedlands Pty Ltd” are not the same business entity.

Malaysian Gourmet Pty Ltd never authorised any sale or renaming of its business assets. How It came to be is a private family matter.

We officially still exist on the books and we are pursuing legal litigation.

Malaysian Gourmet Pty Ltd, regretfully will cease as a business entity as of October 2024. Due to major internal issues. As many of our beloved customers already know, we have always been a Family owned and operated business. We thank all customers for understanding the matter is private and it is undergoing legal proceedings. As Malaysian Gourmet Pty Ltd no longer exists physically. Please be informed that the now standing over, “Penang Gourmet” will now on be meeting your Malaysian Cuisine requirements. We apologise and thank you for your patience and understanding of this unusual circumstance.

Dear Patrons,

We decided to take a break !

We will be closed during the school holidays from the 3rd of July and we will resume business as usual on the Monday 19th of July.

Due to the major shortage of skilled workers in WA's Asian food industry caused by the Pandemic, we are needing to campaign improvements, review our options and to regroup.

Be rest assured we are not going anywhere and we will be back pumping out your favourites and hopefully with strength in numbers.

We apologise for any inconvenience, this causes. We urge Patrons to be patient and please follow the rules and regulations in light of the pandemic.

-PENANG ASSAM LASKA-
This is one of the most iconic noodle dishes from Malaysia. Originating from Penang, this traditional Nyonya dish, basically consists of large soft rice noodles in an hot, sour and spicy fish broth. Packed with a specific selection of fresh vegetables and herbs, Assam Laska is a renowned Malaysian staple that perplexes fragrance with very fresh bold flavors. It is served with fresh cut chilli and a dark sweet prawn paste.
