🚧 WILLIAM TURNS 3 🚧 Yesterday my little Will turned 3! Diggers are his favourite thing, so I of course had to add one to his cake - for his “DIG IN” theme. He snuck lots of cookies when I wasn’t looking, so I think he liked those too! The last time I posted and had the “time” to bake was for his little sister’s first birthday. As they’re keeping me busy, CUSTOM ORDERS are currently CLOSED.

🐰 SOME BUNNY TURNS ONE 🐰
Yesterday, my baby girl turned one! 👏🏻 (and being mummy to my two kids is why I’ve taken all this time off this year!)

Charlotte has had a bunny theme since we first found out about her, so I of course made her bunny cookies and a cake to match.

I used some rose gold and peonies for her balloon garland as one of her middle names is Rose, and it all looked super sweet together.

She loved her cookies, and ate a number 1 all to herself! Happy birthday, my dear Charlotte!

E A S T E R B A K I N G
Hi everyone, we hope you all had a nice Easter! I love how the cookies turned out this year! The big bunny girl is just lovely and we look forward to dressing her up again next year. It was certainly a challenge getting everything complete between feeding my 8mo, the toddler, and the fact that it was too cold for my buttercream when I was decorating the cake! We had a lovely time, and are already planning Mother’s Day bakes.

🎀 F I V E Y E A R S 🎀
Hi everyone! Facebook memories told me yesterday that it’s been five years since we took the leap and the appropriate measures required to sell our first cookies to the public! We are a proud registered kitchen with our local Council, and this ensures we follow and keep protocol so your food reaches you safely, every time. I remember trying to get all the paperwork and inspections ready just before the deadline of Easter all those years ago, but we made it just in time!

I remember that very first delivery day like it was yesterday, wow. I’ve learned so much over these past six years of baking our desserts, and look forward to learning and creating many more.

While I’m sorry I’ve closed Easter orders this year, I do look forward to decorating some cookies with my toddler just for our family. I’ll be sure to share the very messy, half eaten bunny cookies I’m certain William will create with me!

🎀CAKE TOPPERS🎀
I actually am not a huge Star Wars fan, so I hope I did these guys justice! ✨ What do you think? Who’s your favourite?

We happily replied to an SOS call out on our local buy swap and sell page for someone unable to finish their cake last night. I put my hand up and stayed up until 2:30am, simply paying it forward to help out. Even though I’m not a fan of the franchise, I admit I had a blast and absolutely fell in love with these little Star Wars toppers.

🎀 UNICORN 🎀 These lovely unicorns popped up on our memories today. 🦄✨ These were decorated with Royal Icing (our specialty!) with some fondant details. We are proud to offer our cookies in both mediums, and often when the two are blended, you can get some beautiful results! Each style has their own advantages, and we are happy to work with either to get you the look you’re after to suit all tastes and styles.

🎀 2022 🎀 Hi everyone! I enjoyed a nice break with the babies over Christmas and had fun baking, decorating (and eating!) gingerbread cookies with my toddler. Little Charlotte will have to wait until she has some teeth to join in! Usually I don’t eat anything more than a small sample cookie to make sure the batch is perfect for each order, so it was nice to enjoy some cookies just for us (as my family don’t get to eat them either!)

Happy New Year! I will let our socials know when we’re back and firing up the ovens again. 🍪💕
