Weโ€™re taking expressions of interest for an experienced cook or chef to join us at Cafรฉ Pambula by Toast in a casual or part-time role.

Youโ€™ll be confident working through a fast-paced service and supporting our Head Chef to keep kitchen operations running smoothly.

Weโ€™re a busy little cafรฉ with a close-knit team and an all-in approach. Weโ€™re looking for someone reliable and organised who works well under pressure, brings good energy and cares about serving great food. Like everyone on our team, youโ€™ll also be happy to lend a hand across the cafรฉ when needed.

Our version comes as crispy little cabbage dumplings rather than the usual flat pancake, with miso sweet potato purรฉe, a fried egg, pickled ginger, nori, Kewpie and tonkatsu sauce.โฃโฃ

And this is the dish we werenโ€™t allowed to take off the menu this season. Apparently the locals had other ideas. Itโ€™s become one of those dishes people come back for again and again.โฃโฃ
