Barista Position
Dayshift only: 6am/9am - 2:30pm
Hourly rates: Mon-Fri $27.91 Sat-Sun $33.50
Pay increase based on a 2 month performance review
Our fun, small yet fast-paced cafe is looking for a talented Barista to join our family in Palmyra and take our customers' coffee experience to the next level.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Create a welcoming and positive customer experience
- Be able to calibrate coffee grinder and create the perfect cup of coffee
- Willingness to learn other aspects of day to day trade.
- Make food items including our famous Acaí Bowls and Earth Bowls
- Opening and closing of the cafe.
- Bring previous experience to the roll but also with a willingness to adjust to a new job.
You will:
- Posses great customer service and interpersonal skills
- Be professional and reliable
- Have vast experience behind the coffee machine
- Have a creative mind with a can-do attitude
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Run a busy shift with poise and control
- Be available to work on weekends.
- Have the flexibility to do a mixture of opening and closing shifts
- Must have your own transport
We are able to offer a casual role from 15 up to 35 hours per week depending on your flexibility
