School holidays have officially started, and we still have limited spots available across two of our school holiday programs 🌿

Both Honey Heroes sessions sold out, so these are the last two mornings on the calendar.

🌱 Little Growers | Thursday 24 September
This week. Muddy hands, big smiles. Kids meet our worms, harvest what's in season and plant their own pea seed to take home and watch grow.
Ages 5 to 12 | $55 per child

🐨 Koala Detective Workshop | Wednesday 30 September
Next week. A morning with 11 year old koala crusader Malani, learning how to be a Koala Detective. Sharp eyes only 🔍

Every session finishes with a brunch box in Agora, so while the kids are off exploring, you can settle in with a coffee and enjoy the Estate ☕

And the lawn games are set up in Agora for the holidays. No booking needed for those, just come and play, stay a while and make a morning of it 🎲

This Saturday, our Harvest Garden will be in full spring swing, come see what's growing before it reaches the kitchen at ēthos.

The Farm & Garden Tour walks you through the growing spaces with our Agritourism Manager, starting with what's in season right now and how the planting rotates through the year, out to the ground where the Food Forest will one day take root. You'll hear how regenerative farming is restoring the land while feeding the kitchen, and why healthy soil is what makes the difference on the plate.

From there, the walk moves into the Oasis and Botanica Gardens. Manicured spaces filled with edible plants, natives, pollinator gardens and medicinal herbs.

The morning finishes with brunch in Agora, where the conversation continues over biodiversity, waste and the practical side of growing this way. 🐝

Spring is a season made for sharing, and the new menu leans right into it. Dips to tear bread through and pass around the table, followed by large plates built for the middle.

The hive is open, and this time it’s just for the grown-ups. 🐝

After both September School Holidays Honey Heroes sessions sold out, we knew the adults deserved their own morning among the bees.

Guided by our Estate beekeeper, you’ll step inside the hive for an immersive, hands-on experience, learning about the vital role of the queen and just how much these tiny creatures do to sustain our ecosystem.

Afterwards, linger over a seasonal brunch box thoughtfully curated by the ēthos restaurant team, hand picked from our farm. 💚

There are two sessions to choose from:

Saturday 3rd of October
Session 1: 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM
Session 2: 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Step behind the scenes and discover the heart of Alsahwa Estate on a guided Farm & Garden Tour through our 30-acre regenerative property in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. 🌿

Led by our Agritourism Manager, you'll walk the journey of the Estate, from the productive harvest gardens supplying ēthos to the quieter spaces designed to slow you down and reconnect you with nature. Along the way you'll see how regenerative farming is restoring the land while producing fresh, seasonal food for our chefs and guests. 🌱

During your tour you'll:
- Explore our Harvest Garden and discover what's in season right now
- Learn the principles of regenerative farming and how healthy soil creates healthy food
- Wander the Oasis and Botanica Gardens, filled with edible plants, native species, pollinator gardens and medicinal herbs
- Hear our plans for the future Food Forest and how nature works as one connected ecosystem
- And settle in for a relaxed brunch box in Agora, with stories about sustainability, biodiversity and slow living.

Curious kids, this one's for you! 🐨

Our final Koala Detective Workshop of the school holidays is here, in collaboration with and .

Guided by 11-year-old koala expert Malani, kids will learn the clues wildlife experts use to spot koalas in the wild and how to recognise the signs of a sick or injured koala, before setting off on a Koala Quest through the gardens of Alsahwa Estate, hunting for cleverly hidden claw marks and scats amongst the trees.

Packed with fun, discovery and adventure, this interactive workshop empowers young nature lovers to become confident guardians of one of Australia's most iconic animals. Following the quest, brunch boxes await in Agora, while mums and dads relax and enjoy the Estate ☕️
