An afternoon of stories, food and good company is coming to Alsahwa Estate 📚🌸

Join us for a Literary Lunch featuring two of Australia's most beloved storytellers, Robin Bailey and Frances Whiting

Settle in for a two course shared banquet, crafted from fresh, spray free produce grown across our own gardens and sourced from local farmers.

A welcome drink of beer, sparkling or wine awaits on arrival, with more available throughout the day.

Hear directly from Robin and Frances as they share the stories behind their latest books, followed by an audience Q&A hosted by friend of Alsahwa, Deb Caruso from IN Publishing, and and the chance to have your copy signed.

Every guest also takes home a jar of Alsahwa's own honey, a little taste of the Estate to enjoy long after the lunch ends.

Robin joins us to talk through Flamingos Aren't Born Pink, a raw and hopeful story of grief, resilience and family. Frances brings The Nocturnals, a warm and witty novel about loneliness, friendship and finding your people.

Tickets are $95 per person and include lunch, welcome drink, the author session and Q&A, book signing, and your honey to take home.

Numbers are limited, we'd love to have you at the table.

Presented by our friends at and ☀️

What happens in our bee office...

There's something deeply satisfying about honey harvest day at Alsahwa Estate 🍯

Our beekeeper Di starts by gently lifting the wax capping from the top of each frame, taking only what's needed so the rest can go straight back to the bees.

Eight weeks of work sits inside these frames, and even before the spinning starts, you can tell this season's honey is going to run thick and golden. 🍯🐝🌼

Once it's spun free, the honey gets filtered twice, first through a fine mesh, then through cloth, before making its way up to ēthos, where our chefs find no shortage of ways to put it to good use.

From hive to plate, every step is slow, careful and true to the way we grow things here on the Estate.

If you love honey, you can pick up a jar of our Estate honey from our little retail shelves at ēthos. Or buy online - link in our bio 🐝

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious🪄

Meet the newest addition to the cocktail menu at ēthos, the 'Mary Poppins'.

It begins with whiskey, then frangelico for a soft hazelnut warmth, Mozart chocolate liqueur, and a measure of coffee for depth.

Fresh cream, chocolate bitters and a pinch of salt bring it together, finished with our house made caramel and a dusting of chocolate.

A little bit of magic in every sip.✨☂️

Find it now on our ēthos drinks menu!

Consider this your sign to treat yourself next time you're at Alsahwa Estate 🛍️

Our little retail corner at ēthos is stocked with some of our favourite things, including Little Wilding Co, Gentle Habits, Alsahwa Estate honey, keep cups and water bottles that are honestly too good to leave behind.

The kind of things you pick up, put down, and then go back for on your way out.

Pop in on your next visit and have a browse. We will not judge the basket!

An Introduction to Bodynamics is coming to our Estate!

On Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 July, join Hamish Mackay - who has spent 40 years working with biodynamic principles - for two days exploring the life of the soil, natural fertility, the planting calendar and practical ways to manage weeds, pests and disease 👩🏼🌾

This workshop is for anyone curious about growing food and fibre in a way that gives back to the land as much as it takes.

Expect theory, practical application and a shared lunch prepared by ēthos.

$550pp, or $440pp for groups. Tickets link in bio.

Grounded in purpose, connection and a deep appreciation for place, this story was inspired by the beauty and philosophy of our Estate.

Honoured to see this editorial featured in Queensland Brides, Edition 129.

Thirty acres of regenerative Sunshine Coast hinterland, an avenue of palms, and a farm to table restaurant named ēthos. As weddings find their place within a story we have been quietly telling, this shoot marks a new chapter for the Estate.

Grateful to everyone involved in bringing this vision to life.

A small act with a meaningful ripple 🌿

You may have met Friend of Alsahwa Malani (insert her insta) at our birthday festivities last Saturday.

Shas been collecting bottles & cans for Containers for Change to raise money for Queensland Koala Crusaders (insert insta) over the last few years, and now we have designed our own bins scattered across the Estate to make it even easier to play your part.

Next time you are here, pop your cans and bottles in the bin. It is a simple way to support local wildlife and care for the environment we all share.

Little actions, real impact. And we thank Malani for being our little wildlife warrior 🐨
