Hello October mean the smell of laksa is in the air… and now it’s in our kitchen too.
Yes Darwin International Laksa Festival is BACK and we’re turning the flavour dial all the way up.

We’ve laksa‑fied EVERYTHING:

• 𝙇𝙖𝙠𝙨𝙖 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙗𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙖- because carbs + laksa = happiness 🍝

We made it. After 10xx dramas and more than 20 hours on the road, we finally made it back to Darwin safe and sound — and our hearts are full.

A huge thank you to Brunette Races ~ A.B.C. Amateur Race Club for having us at such a fantastic event. It was a privilege to serve so many lovely people over the past few days.

We also want to express our deepest appreciation to the organisers for going above and beyond. When our coolroom broke down in the middle of nowhere, they sent Jack the mechanic, who not only fixed it but towed us more than 100km back to the event. And when it snapped again on the way home, Jack showed up early in the morning, pulled parts from his own trailer, and got us moving. Absolute legend.

To Liz and her sons from Berko Jerky — our wonderful neighbours for the last four days — thank you for always appearing right when we needed a hand. You helped us sort things out while we were still scrambling, and we’re so grateful.

And a special shout‑out to NT Correctional Services and NT Police Officers from Tennant Creek who supported the us a lot during the event.

It’s been a long, challenging, unforgettable trip — and we couldn’t have done it without all of you.

Hope to see everyone again next year. ❤️
