From England to Australia – A Journey of a Lifetime 🇬🇧➡️🇦🇺

Meet Alan and Kath, two of our most cherished guests at Brewing Bliss. Their story is one of adventure, resilience, and the pursuit of a new life.

In 1975, they arrived in Australia as part of the Ten Pound Poms scheme, leaving behind the familiar streets of England for the promise of opportunity down under.We met them today at a campsite in Wedderburn.🤗🤗

Nearly 50 years later, they sit in our café, sipping on their favourite brew, reminiscing about their voyage across the seas, the challenges of settling in, and the warmth of the Australian community that welcomed them.

We feel honoured to be a part of their story and love hearing their memories over coffee. Their journey reminds us of the incredible stories hidden in everyday conversations.
