☕💛 Why Coffee Haven?

Have you ever wondered how we came up with the name Coffee Haven?

Well, there’s a little more to it than just coffee! ☕😊

The word haven is close to heaven… and we loved that connection. But more than that, we wanted Coffee Haven to be a place where you can come just as you are.

A place where you’re welcomed with a smile, where someone takes the time to see you, where you feel known, and where you can simply belong. ❤️

Of course, there’s good coffee, tasty treats and plenty of reasons to pull up a chair. But what really matters to us is the people who walk through our doors.

You don’t have to be having a great day. You don’t have to know anyone. You don’t even have to be a coffee drinker! 😉

You’re welcome here.

Because Coffee Haven isn’t just about serving coffee. It’s about creating a little haven in your day — a place where you feel welcomed, seen and known. 💛

And that’s something worth raising a cup to! ☕

🍫🥐 NEW TREAT ALERT AT COFFEE HAVEN! 🥐🍫

Oh. My. Goodness. 😍 Have you seen what’s landed at Coffee Haven?

A golden, flaky pastry, dusted with a generous snowfall of icing sugar and hiding a delicious Nutella filling! 🤎

Honestly, who needs an excuse for a coffee break when THIS is waiting for you? Pair it with your favourite coffee and call it a very sensible life decision. 😂☕️

Come and treat yourself at Coffee Haven! Your taste buds will thank you. 😉

FUN FACT FRIDAY!
Did you know that the word “cappuccino” is linked to the Capuchin monks? 🤎
The story goes that the colour of their robes was similar to the colour of coffee mixed with milk — and somehow, centuries later, we ended up ordering that colour in a cup! 😂
So next time you enjoy a cappuccino, remember: you’re basically drinking monk-coloured coffee.
Now THAT’S a Fun Fact Friday. ☕️😄

📖✨ Welcome to the Treasured Journal Club!
A little creativity, a little conversation and a lot of community. 💛
At the Coffee Haven we have opened our space to The Treasured Journal Club, which meets at Coffee Haven on the 1st Friday of each month, 10am–1pm — bringing people together to journal, create, chat and enjoy some good company (and perhaps a coffee or two! ☕).
Whether you’re already a journaling pro or have never picked up a journal before, everyone is welcome.
Come along, get creative and see what treasures you might create! ✨

🏛️ ASK WHAT YOUR GOVERNMENT CAN DO FOR YOU!
Our November In the Know is taking a look at the three levels of government — local, state and federal.
We’ll have representatives from each level joining us for a panel interview, answering questions about what they do, what services they provide and how they can help our community.
No need to come prepared with questions — we’ll do the asking, you just sit back and listen! 👂
Come along, have a coffee and find out a little more about who does what when it comes to government.
