Brisbane Typhoon is proud to have the privilege of organising the dragon boat races for this exciting celebration of culture, community, and connection right on the Brisbane river.
This special event brings together families and people from all backgrounds for a fun-filled day on and off the water, sharing laughter, teamwork, and the spirit of dragon boating.
Whether you’re racing, cheering from the sidelines, or experiencing dragon boat for the very first time, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Well… our Event Manager has officially jumped ship to greener pastures 🌱

What you’ll be doing:
• Running events from bump-in to bump-out
• Managing vendors, staff & the public
• Problem solving on the fly (because something always goes wrong)

What we need from you:
• You’ve done events before (and not just small ones)
• You can handle pressure without folding
• Weekend availability is a must

A gloomy day today at the coastal markets at Burleigh but the sun managed to make an appearance for us to get a few customers and they were keen for hot food to warm them up!!
