🏏 One Tree Hill Cricket Club Celebrates 150 Years! 🏏

The One Tree Hill Cricket Club is celebrating its 150th Anniversary this Saturday 31st of January at McGilp Recreation Park.

This is an incredible milestone, one our whole community can be proud of. The Club is proudly one of the oldest cricket clubs in South Australia!

Ok so we've managed to finalised our date for the big 150th celebrations. We did plan on Australia day long weekend but have steered away from that and the date will be Saturday 31st January. A grade will be playing playing at home that weekend too!!

Obviously this is a huge year for the club, celebrating our foundation season 150 years ago in 1876!! So this one's an open invite to players, past players, families and friends of the club, current and past opponents and the wider community of One Tree Hill!

Thank you to all of our wonderful residents, volunteers, and community groups for coming together to celebrate the One Tree Hill Community Day!

We’ve received such positive feedback and were so pleased to see so many happy faces (and even a little sunshine!) throughout the day.

A special thank you goes to Kamcheyenne Limousin for generously donating the sausages for our Community BBQ, with proceeds going back to support our local community groups.

We’d also like to thank for their generous donation towards the cash prize for the OTH Gift Race.

FREE EVENT

We are excited to celebrate the reopening of McGilp Recreation Park with this amazing community event.

The school gym will be open, featuring an amazing art display and some nostalgic flashback photos from the past

🌟 Activities for Everyone!
* Come and try tennis, cricket, or soccer
* Explore inside our CFS trucks
* Get involved with the Scouts
* Relax in the Mums and Bubs area

Don’t forget to bring some extra cash to support the community bbq and amazing local markets stalls.

There will be heaps of fun activities for the kids, and the much-requested OTH Gift Race is back for the adults — time to dust off those running shoes!

This day is all about celebrating our amazing community — and we’d love to see you there! 💛💚

Congratulations to One Tree Hill Playgroup on being named a finalist in the Playgroup SA People’s Choice Excellence Award!

This is such a well-deserved recognition for a legacy playgroup that has been part of our community since the 1970s!

Over the years, countless local families have been part of Playgroup, and it’s wonderful to see today’s group of volunteers carrying on that tradition with fresh energy and new ideas, making it a space where friendships grow, experiences are shared, and lasting memories are created for our children.

Thank You, Pat!
