So I got these 2 Briskets to do a comparison on Wagyu v Grass Fed. Both smoked well, but after trying both I found the wagyu a little dry on the flat compared to the Grass Fed.

Hmm its Sunday and the Pork Butt is on!

Had a bit of a break after the First Competition and am now recharged and back into it.

Since competing in our first BBQ competition, we’ve been going over what we need to do for the next one.

1. One massive thing we have learnt is don’t hit the Beers until prep and proteins are in the smoker 😂
2. Always bring more charcoal then you think you need, it’s very hard to finish the cook without heat 🔥
3. Stick to your plan guide 📝

Anyway it was a massive learning experience and we had an awesome time!
