I had a fantastic time at Robina Outside School Hours Care for my last workshop in the September/October holidays.

Over 100 children made one of my mini handmade succulent garden pots.

With such a large group the day ran smoothly thanks to the amazing staff that kept everything organised and calm.

The children had many other fun activities running during my time there and we're so polite and grateful when participating.

During the second week of the school holidays I visited two more TeamKids services at Ripley and Somerset Hills State School.

I loved my time at both, sharing knowledge and skills so the children could create their own mini garden.

I was gifted a beautiful succulent picture and frame from a few of the children. It's moments like that which makes my heart sing and I know I'm making an impact on future gardeners.

Beautiful murals lined many walls at Summerset Hills. It was refreshing to see and added color and character to the environment.

I love to travel to Nambour. It has one of my favorite restaurants and one of my wholesale plant nurseries is there. And yep I definitely visited both after my workshop.

When I visited the children at TeamKids from Woombye State School it was a little wet but that didn't stop us learning, developing new skills and making succulent magic.

A few children said they had never gardened before and that is one of the reasons I absolutely love what I do. To be able to offer children the chance to experience something new.

A smaller group at TeamKids Clontarf but this allowed me to extend my educational talk that I do at the beginning of each workshop.

The children asked lots of questions and were fascinated by all my pictures on the many types of insects that can destroy succulent plants.

It was great to see many of the older children help the young prep students make their arrangements when they found it a little difficult.

Thank you to Bella and her team at TeamKids Mt Cotton. Bella remembered me from over 4 years ago when I ran my workshop at another service she was at.

The children had a beautiful space to create their arrangements under their amazing outdoor area. I was impressed with their mini garden beds that the children are tending to during term.

The first week of this school holidays I was able to visit 5 TeamKids services. The children from Creastmead State School were so excited on my arrival and many succulent pot gardens were made.

A huge thank you to Renae and her team. A large group of children participated and the staff helped guide each group with ease. I was so impressed that their area manager was on the floor and got amongst the activity and joined in also.

Some of the cute handmade succulent arrangements I had available last weekend at Taste by the Bay North Lakes event.

Tomorrow some of these will be available at Plot 4504 Market Garden as well as a few different ones not pictured.

Tomorrow my succulents will be available at Plot 4504 Market Garden at their reopening day.

A relaxed morning for the family. Grab a coffee, sit amongst the trees and browse local growers which showcase their products for purchase to take home and create healthy meals for your family.

Kids can get up close to the farm animals and get back to nature with fresh air in their lungs instead of screens in their hands.

I will also have new handmade succulent arrangements available. I have been working on new creations and have definitely missed making them.

I am now fully booked until next year for school incursions but I love what Plot has created and am excited to be part of their community. I will try to have succulents available every few weeks but it will be weather dependent and also due to having to propagate over a thousand cuttings between now and Christmas for my workshops
