SECTION WAITER – ITALIAN RESTAURANT
We are looking for an experienced Section Waiter to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a busy restaurant, with solid knowledge of Italian food, hospitality.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage your allocated section confidently and efficiently.
- Provide warm, professional and attentive service throughout the guest experience.
- Take orders accurately using the POS system.
- Have excellent knowledge of food, w**e, cocktails and spritzes.
- Make food and beverage recommendations to improve the customer experience
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth service.
- Maintain high standards of table presentation, cleanliness and service.
- Handle busy periods calmly while maintaining attention to detail.
- Assist other team members when required and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Follow restaurant service standards and responsible service requirements.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a waiter/section waiter.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Good knowledge of Italian cuisine and w**e is highly desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional presentation and a positive attitude.
- Availability for weekends and evenings.
- RSA required.
Full-time and casual positions available, with 30+ hours for the right candidate.
