Sharing a bit about my Dad, Brian, who we lost this week. It’s a loss that’s hard to accept, especially today.

In a way, MOTO exists because of my Dad. He showed me how it looked to be self-employed and have a go, and never give up even when things get really tough. He inspired me to be my own boss. The hardest working man I’ve ever known, he was humble, funny, generous and perfectly stubborn, with a heart of gold. I miss him so much already.

I want to say the most heartfelt thanks to my crew who have been running MOTO so well and supporting me when it matters most. Brian would want me and MOTO to keep going and stay strong. He’d be so proud of us.

I’ll always wish for one more laugh with him. A really good man and a great Dad, gone too soon. 🤍 Kristy

Today marks 10 years since we opened the doors for our first day at MOTO. But today we’re feeling the devastating loss of one of our MOTO family, with the passing of beautiful Krista.

Krista started as a customer but quickly became a friend, and eventually a member of the MOTO crew. Her sparkling eyes and bright smile lit up the whole place from behind the bar, and her fingerprints left behind will always be part of our story here.

She was one of our greatest cheerleaders when times were tough, and we shared many a bottle of rosé and many laughs, and that’s how we’ll remember her. Taken too young, too soon, but never forgotten. Love you always Krista 🤍✨
