East Coast vs West Coast, battling it out down on the South Coast for the ultimate prize — while the rest of us sit back with a few frothies, yell at the TV and suddenly reckon we know more about football than the coaches. 🍻😂

Next Saturday — the traditional last Saturday in September — it’s GAME DAY!

Maybe you’re hosting the crew, loading the esky, preparing the snacks and hoping your team doesn’t cop an absolute old-school pantsing. 👖💀

Or maybe footy simply isn’t your thing and you’ll be happily at home watching Antiques Roadshow, Burke’s Backyard reruns or anything else that doesn’t involve grown adults chasing a Sherrin around a paddock. 😂

⚽️🏆 WELL FOLKS… THAT’S A WRAP! 🏆⚽️

After 3 massive days, dozens of teams, questionable sleep, heroic levels of caffeine and enough sweat to fill a small swimming pool, we’ve officially reached the end of the 2026 East Arnhem Futsal Regional Titles!

There were plenty of close finishes, with a few games going right down to penalty shootouts 😱⚽️, new friendships made, countless laughs, plenty of sweat & tears… and the crowd finding new and creative ways to be entertained!

Some people watched the games, analysed the refereeing, or appeared to be there purely for the snacks and gossip. Honestly, everyone had an important role to play. 😂

But most importantly, what an absolutely fabulous event it has been!

JEWMA were absolutely thrilled to be involved and to play a small part in an event that was put together so incredibly well by the amazing and ridiculously organised East Arnhem Futsal Committee 👏🏼

A HUGE thank you also goes out to:

⚽️ Canteen helpers
⚽️ Scorers

You all play a massive part in making these events what they are, and we genuinely appreciate every single one of you. ❤️

And from the JEWMA family, a very special thank you to Amy White, Jo Sabato and Bec Robinson & jess_elford for allowing us a much-needed break throughout the weekend and allowing one or both of us to sneak away to actually watch OUR OWN KIDS play! 😂❤️

Because apparently, when you run a catering business, your kids still expect you to turn up and watch them play sport. The audacity. We fed everyone else all weekend and they still wanted emotional support from us. 🤣

There were moments when we weren’t sure whether we were catering a futsal tournament or running a highly disorganised endurance event with food on the side. But somehow, nobody went hungry and most of us remained vaguely upright by the end.

Congratulations to every team, every player and everyone who contributed. 🏆👏🏼

💙 TEAM JEWMA — WHAT A WEEKEND! 💙

Team JEWMA were absolutely privileged to be part of one of the biggest and best events on the East Arnhem calendar — Conquer the Corrugations - East Arnhem 2026💪🔥

With 300+ legends taking on 28KM of madness, it was two massive days packed with:

😂 Laughing
🗣️ Talking
💦 Sweating
😭 A few tears
👗 Fancy dress-ups
🩹 Hundreds of blisters
💥 Dozens of hours cramping in places you didn’t even know could cramp

And, of course:

🥘 Trays upon trays of bloody good tucker
💧 Enough hydration to keep the whole of Gove floating!

JEWMA were bloody stoked to play our little part in keeping everyone fuelled throughout the weekend! 🍽️

We pumped out 50+ KILOS OF BEANS 🫘 for the energetic, entertaining, enthusiastic and incredibly encouraging crowd, along with 400+ mini sausage rolls and other savoury goodies 😋 — plus a multitude of other treats and, of course, a few special JEWMA creations put together for the committee on Sunday evening. 😉

After all the food prep, cooking, serving and cleaning, the five of us were absolutely rooted… 😂

But honestly?

WE HAD AN ABSOLUTE BALL! ❤️

Spending the weekend alongside such a quality, dedicated, passionate and bloody good bunch of people is exactly what community is all about.

A massive thank you to everyone involved in making East Arnhem Conquer what it is. The commitment, energy and heart that goes into this event is bloody impressive. 👏

That’s nearly 24 HOURS of running, sweating, yelling, celebrating, complaining to the ref and questioning life choices! 😂

Well… our quiet Friday night turned into dressing up, eating fancy food and pretending we were serious business people. 😂🥂

We were incredibly honoured to attend the East Arnhem Business Awards at Latitude — wearing clothes surprisingly without a little catering sauce on them, which honestly felt like a major achievement. 😂

JEWMA Catering was nominated for:

🏆 Outstanding New Startup Business of the Year

And somehow, against all odds, questionable planning and several conversations that started with:

“How many people are we feeding?”

we made the
TOP THREE FINALISTS IN EAST ARNHEM! 🤯❤️

For a little family business built on hard work, big dreams and the occasional:

“Yeah… we can probably feed that many people.”

…this means more to us than we can properly put into words.

We didn’t take home the win, but we’re still absolutely thrilled, ridiculously proud and only slightly surprised that we were allowed into a room with tablecloths this fancy. 😂

A huge, heartfelt thank you to every customer, supporter, business, friend and family member who has helped us get here. Every order, recommendation, share, kind word and helping hand has meant the absolute world to us. ❤️
