On occasion we say “good-bye”,
And this time it is dear Skye,
It’s been years of service;
From the early days and feeling nervous,
To here today and “lowkey slay”,
She is reliable in every way;
Like 5 minutes late to work each day,
Or forgetting her timesheets,
But that’s okay,
She showed the importance of calm and poise,
to not just ramble and add to the noise,
but to take the time to think and do,
it’s not radical or even new,
but it is how we will remember you,
Taking the time to be here and now,
Keeping it light and easy somehow,
The neatest handwriting you ever did see,
I’ll really miss your shopping lists for me!
