As of 6pm tonight all regional areas of NSW are now subject to restrictions till midnight on the 9th July.

The following rules now apply at Belmont Golf and Bowls.

1: Face Masks must be worn by everyone inside the clubhouse
2: Everyone must now be seated when drinking or dining….no standing
3: The 4sq metre rule now applies to both indoor and outdoor dining areas
4: If you have been in Sydney from anytime after June 21 you must get tested and self isolate for 14days.

BISTRO 801 SATURDAY DINNER RE-OPENING
From Saturday 9th January 2021 BISTRO 801 will be re-opening for dinner.
Bookings are preferred.
So why not grab a group of mates book a table for dinner and have a game of twilight bowls or golf before hand.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM BELMONT GOLF & BOWLS
COVID-19 BULLETIN

Social Members of Belmont Golf & Bowls are advised that as well the golf course and bowling greens, the Clubhouse will be restricted to MEMBERS ONLY from Saturday 8th August (i.e. from Friday midnight) for an initial period of three weeks.

This is for the safety and protection of all our existing members.

Several new Covid-19 case locations in Hamilton, Adamstown and Broadmeadow and at the Queens Wharf Hotel in Newcastle have just today been identified by NSW Public Health, in addition to the locations previously notified in Jesmond, Lambton, Toronto and Wallsend. It is evident that there is an increasing risk of exposure to coronavirus cases not just from Sydney but locally within Newcastle.

The decision to restrict access to the Clubhouse to members only will be reviewed towards the end of the initial three-week period and we can only hope that the spread of coronavirus starts to slow in the meantime.
Members who have family or friends who they would like to bring to the Club are urged to have them sign up as a social member at the office or bar immediately (today or tomorrow). We will not be accepting new social members while the Clubhouse is restricted to members only so guests of members will not be admitted.
