from Napoli,
Italy, now living in Newcastle, Australia with my beloved little family:
Christian and Marley, after living in Byron Bay and Newcastle.

Osteria Papazzo is born from my love for cooking and my desire to share it with people.

As a Chef I offer authentic traditional nurturing and nourishing Italian dishes, crafting unforgettable flavoursome experiences in a very sustainable way.

Our Osteria is a Small, 1 person Osteria that means that is only one person in the kitchen who preps, hand-crafts and cooks all day our meals and dishes for YOU and that person is me ;-) while Christian is on the floor as FOH and Bar 🩵☺️ though on Fridays and Saturdays around 5:30pm I come out of the kitchen and pass the baton ;-) to him so he finishes to cook and plate for us to allow me to host you in the way I love and would do at our home ☺️ it’s not an easy job for him as all of you most of the time wish to eat all at the same times ;-) but he has been handling it in a wonderful way! He is the only one who has been watching me cooking and prepping for the past 11 years and though in the beginning was not easy for us to working together, we both have learned the best way to manage it all!
Osteria Papazzo, Caffe’, Cucina & Vino is like having a private chef all the time all for you! 1 Person in the kitchen because coming to dine at our Osteria is like you would come to dine at our home, one person prepping and cooking, simple healthy handcrafted flavoursome wholesome food! From the day I met them, they made me feel so home!💛♥️🩵
Always available for a smile, a laugh or joke despite the tiredness or exhaustion of their work life!
I love how our relationship has been building and evolving!
They are at the Newcastle farmers market every Sunday(next Sunday market is off) but you can find them at Glendale under the car park of the shopping centre every Saturday too from 7am!
