Had one of the best, most wholesome nights out in my life here.

Authentic korean cuisine with a simple but well thought out menu of traditional and new-age korean fare, all executed to near-perfection. Friends reckon any better would cost you airfare to Seoul itself.

I've tried almost everything on the menu so far and non have disappointed. Fried chicken dishes were all boneless, very tender and juicy, and had the trademark crunch even after being coated thoroughly with thick sauces. Samgyeopsal had that amazing fat-melt-in-your-mouth experience I've not had in some time. Jeons were done well with a huge amount of toppings - particularly the haemul pajeon.

Staff are incredibly happy despite being so busy - the owner of the place who works in the kitchen with her husband is a splendid person radiating happiness; have always had a good chat with her whenever I swung by to eat or for ubereats and told me about how they were struggling opening up a new restaurant in the midst of the pandemic lockdown and I am genuinely happy and excited for them to receive so much attention.

15/10 would recommend. They are set to be Newcastle's new Korean food institution and absolutely deserve it.
