Dear all followers,

After year and a half of operating Mama's Meals, we have made the difficult decision to close our doors. Due to end of lease and our personal reasons to move back to mainland.
Our final day of service will be Wednesday 25th March 2026.
We are incredibly grateful for your loyalty and support. Thank you you all so much for making this journey memorable.

Good Morning all,
There is the lease inspection in couple places come up and we can not make it open the shop tomorrow, Friday (27.02.26) so we will close a day.
We get back on Sat 28.02 as usual.

One evening in Thailand, a small group of foreign tourists were walking near a busy night market. They were hungry and saw a place full of people, tables, and food. It looked exactly like a restaurant. Smiling, they walked in and started ordering food, thinking they had found a great local spot.

A few moments later, they noticed something felt different. People were dressed in black. There were flowers and photos nearby. That was when they realized the truth — they were standing in the middle of a funeral.

The tourists were shocked and quickly apologized, feeling embarrassed. But the family holding the funeral did not get angry. Instead, they gently explained what was happening and showed great kindness. They even invited the tourists to sit down and share food and drinks.

What could have been an awkward moment turned into a warm one. The story spread online as a reminder that kindness can exist even in moments of sadness.

We just had a group of Japanese teenagers 6-7 persons, had the meals but didn't pay all they had.
Just be aware if they're going to other restaurants and they might leave with no pay again.

We heard some call us "Mama's Kitchen"
Sounds lovely 😁
We were thinking about changing name but already be used to Mama's Meals so..😅😆

It's finally reached a year .. this Mama's Meals seems now being so real, we received feedback, keep doing good things and fixing the wrong one.
All these would not happen if we don't have all lovely customers. We glad that we decided to open "the another food shop(there was someone called us that too😆)" in New Norfolk , otherwise we will never know that our food is appreciated and loved.
We appreciate your support especially those who with us since the first week. ❤️
In the future, we may change again at least the menu 😅
and we don't know yet how far we can go, but we do hope that you all will stay with us till then. 💞✌️🙏
