It’s with a heavy heart and a tear in our eye that we announce that Bluegrass at New Farm will close its doors for the last time this Sunday, 3/9.
After much deliberation, the shopping centre’s management has decided that it’s in the best interest of the centre to add our space to the vacant one next door and change the use of that precinct to retail. They are therefore unable to offer us a new lease.
We wish the new retailer in our space and the centre management all the best for the future.
While it has clearly been a difficult decision for them, we, and our staff, are left reeling from this news.
We’re going to take a little time to get things in order and regroup, with an aim to come back better and stronger near you in the near future.
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you, our loyal customers, fans and friends, for all your support over the years.
It’s been a blast. We learned a lot, had our triumphs and tribulations, and have loved every minute of it.
To have you along with us has quite literally meant the world.
For those of you with reservations through the rest of the year and up to Super Bowl next year - we'll be contacting you shortly to offer our apologies.
In the meantime, we're open all this weekend and would love to see all of you for one last round of brisket, ‘burgs & beers.
Bluegrass BBQ is still open and smoking just up at Albion and Eatons Hill to satiate all your BBQ needs.
