The World Cup has hit Nerriga! ⚽🇬🇧➡️🇦🇷

England was defeated by Argentina this week, and strangely enough, the exact same thing happened here at Nerriga!

Our English backpackers have sadly departed, and their positions have officially been taken over by our new Argentinian backpackers. Coincidence? We don't think so! 😂

Drop in, say g'day and make Luciana (Lucy) and Valentin (Val) feel right at home in Nerriga! We're sure they'll fit right in with our wonderful little community! ❤️🇦🇷

Argentina may be chasing World Cup glory, but our Argentinian crew are already delivering first-class bush pub hospitality (and perhaps a few well-earned cold beers after their shift!). 🍻

To top it all off, Donna's cooked up her famous slow-cooked Beef Cheeks this week... and they're definitely first class! If you're looking for a world-class meal without the airfare we've got you covered. 🤤🏆

💔 Well... yesterday was one of those days we'd rather have skipped. It was time to wave goodbye to our favourite Pommy duo, Lauren & Joe! 🇬🇧❤️

Since arriving back in February, they've become much more than backpackers—they've become part of the Nerriga family. ❤️ Joe could always be found with a smile on his face and having a chat, while Loz kept us entertained with her quick wit... and if she wasn't cracking jokes, she was probably crocheting, knitting, or creating something clever! 🧶😂

We're going to miss you both more than you'll ever know, but we're so excited for the next chapter of your Aussie adventure. Travel safe, make amazing memories, and don't forget to send us plenty of photos so we can be jealous! 🚐🇦🇺📸

This weekend is the last hoorah for both Lauren & Joe as part of the Nerriga crew. They're packing their bags and hitting the road to continue exploring this amazing country of ours. 🇦🇺🚐

🤣 It seems our Lauren has already started disappearing... she even packed the letter "U" before she packed her suitcase! If you spotted the missing U on this week's specials board, now you know who to blame! 😂

They've been absolute legends, and we're going to miss their smiles, hard work and plenty of laughs. We wish them all the very best for the rest of their Aussie adventure! 🍻❤️

But don't worry... the backpacker baton is being passed! 🇦🇷 Next week we'll be welcoming our new team members all the way from Argentina, so be sure to give them a warm Nerriga welcome!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along and made karaoke an absolute ripper! ❤️

To everyone brave enough to grab the mic... you were AWESOME! 🌟 Whether you hit every note or created a few new ones 🤣, you kept the crowd entertained all night.

And to our amazing audience... you weren't just watching, you were singing, cheering and making the whole pub come alive! 🙌🎵

A massive shout-out to the legends Janeen & Wayne for another fantastic night. You two always know how to get the party started! 👏🍻
