We’re looking for a new face to join the Watson’s Kitchen family. 🧡

If you’re someone who enjoys meeting people, loves working in a fast-paced environment and isn’t afraid of an early morning, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re currently looking for Front of House team members who are available for early mornings and weekends.

Previous hospitality or barista experience is a bonus, but it isn’t essential. If you’ve got a positive attitude and are eager to learn, we’ll happily teach you the rest.

What we’re offering:

The Faces Behind Watsons 🥧

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been celebrating the incredible people who have helped shape Watsons over the years. To finish the series, we’d like to introduce someone many of you will know...

Jo – The Store Manager.

🕐 How long have you worked here?
29 years (since 1997!)

🔄 Biggest change you’ve seen?
Two major renovations that transformed the bakery over the years. The first in 1998 saw the addition of the second story, offices, storage, the upstairs dining area and an elevator. Back then, the team wore the iconic green checkered aprons! The second renovation modernised the front shop with the cabinets and equipment our customers know today.

🍰 Favourite bakery treat?
Anything chocolate! 🍫

If you’ve been coming to Watsons for a while, chances are you’ve met Jo.

For nearly three decades, she’s been a familiar face, leading the team through early mornings, busy days and many exciting changes along the way. She’s seen generations of customers walk through the doors and has played a big part in making Watsons the welcoming place it is today.

While plenty has changed over the years, one thing has always stayed the same — the people behind Watsons and the community that has supported us every step of the way.

To Jo, and to every member of our long-serving team featured in this series, thank you for your dedication, hard work and the care you’ve poured into Watsons over so many years. We simply wouldn’t be the business we are today without you.

And to our wonderful community, thank you for following along with our *Faces Behind Watsons* series. We’ve loved sharing a little more about the people behind the counter and behind the scenes.
