🐚🩵 MAYA TURNS 12 🩵🐚

My gorgeous niece Maya turned 12 last week. I got the call up to make her a light blue ocean theme cake.

So I did an 8” 2 layer vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream. Covered with light blue ombre buttercream and some piping on top. A few sugar pearls and blue sugar balls. Finished off with some pearl lustre dusted fondant shells.

Maya, her friends and the family loved it!

A slightly blank canvas kind of cake.

It was a 6” chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream. Red buttercream covered with blue buttercream border piping and piped black buttercream web.
Ready for Indi’s mum to pop on the toppers she had.

These cakes are great if you like to decorate but hate to bake, time poor or would like to pop a couple of things on top yourself.

❤️ Celebration Cake ❤️

Yesterday this one traveled all the way to Casino to celebrate the Coles store Renewal Relaunch with the team.

It was a 9”x12” vanilla slab cake covered in red vanilla buttercream. Some piping on top with strawberries and raspberries. Finished off with a fondant coles sign and fondant lettering.

The team loved it and I’m super grateful to be asked to make the cake for their celebration.

💙Baby Shower Cupcakes🩵

A few weeks ago…

It was a hectic Father’s Day weekend but I couldn’t say no to these cuties. What’s another 20 cupcakes when you’re already doing hundreds 🤷🏻‍♀️

They were chocolate and vanilla mixed boxes. With 3 different shades of blue piped buttercream. Finished off with gold and silver sugar balls.
Perfect for celebrating the impending baby arrival with friends and family 🩵

A few weeks ago….

When a little ball loving legend turns 5, there’s no better cake for him to celebrate with his friends and family!

It was an 8” 3 layer vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream. Milk chocolate ganache drip and some piped green buttercream grass. I made the balls out of fondant covered sugar cookies. Used some melted chocolate to glue lollipop sticks to the back of them to stand them up and keep them edible.

I also made a personalised topper to go on top.

A few weeks ago….

My first big cake to be filled with jam and fresh cream 🍓

It was a 10” square vanilla cake filled with fresh cream and jam. Covered in vanilla buttercream and detailed piping on top with a pop of maroon buttercream. Finished off with some simple gold sprinkles.

It’s always lovely to receive these messages afterwards, but also a huge relief as well when ur a huge over thinker. Especially after recent events 🤦🏻‍♀️

BROOKIE has officially entered my base range of treats.

What’s a Brookie?
It’s my triple chocolate fudge brownie with pieces of my choc cookie dough baked in with the brownie and on top.

They are absolutely delicious 🤤🤤

I’ll have them at my next Pop Up shop Saturday 17th October at Sunnyside.
