It was a big weekend at The Royal. ❤️
A first birthday. A 60th. Father’s Day. And a footy celebration that, unfortunately, became more of a footy commiseration.
But looking around at the aftermath this morning, we were reminded of something we feel incredibly lucky about.
You choose this place for the moments that matter.
You bring your families here. Your friends. You celebrate birthdays here, catch up over dinner, come in after the game, whether there’s a win to celebrate or a loss to drown your sorrows over.
We get to watch kids have their first birthdays here and families gather for their 60ths. We get the noisy nights, the long lunches, the ordinary catch-ups and the really special ones.
And that’s exactly what we want The Royal to be.
A place that’s here for Murgon, for all of it.
Thank you for continuing to fill this old pub with your lives. It means more to us than you probably realise.
Although, in the interests of preserving both our carpets and our sanity, confetti is banned. 😅
