Globe Trotters Travel Cafe is a fully licenced boutique travel agency and Cafe based on the Gold Coast. We have been in business since 2017 and are centred on delivering a 5-star customer experience, be it in our food and coffee service or to people who want to travel this amazing world. We offer a range of all-day breakfast and lunch options, sweet treats, kids menu options, drinks and coffee options. Not only are we a cafe, we are a travel agent that can handle your cruise, touring and flights. Although we are based in Mudgeeraba, we have customers coming to us from all over the Gold Coast, including Robina, Tallai, Reedy Creek, Burleigh Heads, Burleigh Water, Miami, Broadbeach, Bundall, Benowa, Elanora, Highland Park, Surfers Paradise.

We’re looking for friendly, reliable people to join our café team in Mudgeeraba!

☕ 2 x CASUAL CAFÉ ALL-ROUNDERS
Approx. 7–15 hours per week initially, with potential for more.

The role includes POS, coffee making, food preparation/service and looking after our wonderful customers.

✔ Weekday & Saturday availability
✔ Café experience preferred
✔ Barista & food handling experience a bonus
✔ Great customer service is a must!
✔ One position starting ASAP, with flexibility on the second

☕ FULL-TIME CAFÉ MANAGER – MATERNITY COVER
With potential for ongoing employment

We’re also looking for someone to step into our Café Manager role from December/early January.

This is a hands-on position — you’ll make coffees, prepare and serve food, manage the day-to-day running of the café and may work independently on some days.

Barista and food handling experience are essential. Previous management experience isn’t necessary, but a good understanding of café operations and hospitality is preferred.

You’ll have plenty of creative control, the opportunity to bring your own ideas to the café and become a familiar face amongst our customers and regulars.

We’d love the right person to start soon with a small number of hours, learning alongside our current manager before taking over the role.

🎄 We close for approx. 2 weeks over Christmas/New Year, with a few optional hours available to refresh and restock before reopening.

Our hours:
Mon–Fri: 7am–4pm
Saturday: 7am–3pm
Sundays closed — no nights or Sundays! 🙌
