Dear valued customers, regretfully we have to advise you that Cafe in the mountains will be permanently closed.
Illness in the family, disaster events and the current economical crises have forced us to shut our doors and terminate our lease. Thank you to all my customers for the many beautiful memories over the last 7 years of trade ands friendship. We will miss you.

Christmas and new year trading hours
Due to almost all staff being away over Christmas we will have to adjust opening hours and menus and will only have a small selection of food available for you next week.

Despite the rain we will be open today Saturday and tomorrow Sunday. It is actually quite nice and cosy up here when it rains. Come up for a walk in the rain and a nice cuppa and meal after.
Opening hours for Sunday change to 9-2 because of the rain.

Due to a private function we will be closing earlier today. Kitchen stricktly closes at 1:30 pm and the business closes at 2pm today. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Due to extremely hot weather forecast today and tomorrow ( our kitchen gets around 10 degrees above the outside temperature) we decided to partially close out kitchen today but we have some specials like gourmet sandwiches, bagels, croissants , lasagne, Bircher musli and our usual cakes for you. We will
leave our hot plate, deep fryers turned off. Therefore we can’t make you burgers fries or bacon.

Due to the hot weather today and overnight temperature didn’t cool the us enough down, our kitchen will only partially be open today and the hot plate and deep fryer will stay turned off. We can still make you some of our menu items like toasties and salads. Sorry for the inconvenience.
