Two weeks to go… 🤍

Before we celebrate another year of Giuseppe’s Cantina, we thought we’d take a little trip down memory lane.

A few years ago, our restaurant went through a transformation, from the original bar and its classic character to the space you see today.

A lot has changed over the years, but one thing hasn’t: Giuseppe’s is still a place for good food, good company and plenty of memories around the table.

As we get ready to celebrate our anniversary, we’ll be sharing a little more of our story over the next two weeks.

And if you’d like to celebrate with us, our anniversary dinner is coming up on 10 October. 🥂

For one night, Giuseppe’s will be bringing a little Amalfi Coast feeling to Mount Isa with a special Italian-inspired dinner, sparkling on arrival, chilled Limoncello to finish and a commemorative bottle of Sandalford Founders Reserve Liqueur Tawny for every guest to take home.

The evening is also a special celebration of Giuseppe (Joe) and Eliana Vaiente, marking a belated 60 years since the opening of The Verona in 1964.

Something special is coming to Giuseppe’s on Saturday, 10 October.

For one evening, we’re bringing a little taste of an Italian summer to Mount Isa — think Amalfi Coast vibes, beautiful food, sparkling on arrival and a long dinner shared around the table.

Our La Dolce Vita Dinner is being held in honour of Giuseppe (Joe) and Eliana Vaiente, celebrating a belated 60 years since the opening of their first Mount Isa restaurant, The Verona, in 1964.

The evening will include:

🍾 Sparkling on arrival
🍝 A special Italian-inspired dinner
🍋 Chilled Limoncello digestivo
🍷 A commemorative bottle of Sandalford Founders Reserve Liqueur Tawny for every guest to take home

Yes, that’s right, our new menu starts today!✨

One of the new dishes we’ve already taste tested (for quality control, of course 😉) is our Tomato & Stracciatella Bruschetta.

Toasted housemade focaccia, basil pesto, cherry tomato, red onion, creamy stracciatella and aged balsamic.

We can definitely recommend this one as the perfect way to start your meal. Keep it all to yourself… or, if you’re feeling generous, share it with the rest of the table. 😏

And a reminder, our 2-course and 3-course meal deal is back on Monday to Wednesday, and this new entree is part of it. Just make sure to mention when ordering that you’d like to take advantage of the 2-course or 3-course meal deal.
