One of the things we love about being at the gateway to Mt Buller is the incredible wildlife and nature right on our doorstep.

Only in the High Country! 🐎🏆🏔️
A pretty special afternoon at the Hunt Club Hotel with racing legend Damien Oliver and the Melbourne Cup stopping by on their way to Mt Buller.
And of course, some of the locals arrived in true High Country style… bringing their horses right into the pub! 🐎😂
What an incredible atmosphere and a fantastic sight to see one of Australia’s most iconic sporting trophies making its way through our beautiful part of Victoria.
Next stop… Mt Buller! 🏆❄️🏔️

Sometimes the most unexpected days bring some very special people through our doors. 💙
On Monday, while guests were waiting at Mirimbah before travelling up the mountain, we had the pleasure of meeting Lisa and her beautiful mum, Carole.
And we just had to share this… yesterday Carole celebrated her 86th birthday on the slopes at Mt Buller! 🎂⛷️❄️
Despite some challenging visibility, she was out there doing what she loves — and we think that’s pretty amazing!
It was an absolute pleasure meeting you both. Thank you for sending us these gorgeous photos and video, and a very Happy 86th Birthday to Carole from all of us at Mirimbah Store. 💙🏔️

🏔️ Catching the Winter Magic: From Mirimbah to the Peak! ✨Mirimbah was absolutely buzzing today, but we ☕ The Vibe: The cafe packed with eager skiers and boarders grabbing that essential morning caffeine hit.🛍️ The Gear: Checking out the retail shop for last-minute mountain essentials.👯 The Crew: Georgie and myself officially ready to tackle the slopes!❄️ The Destination: Pure, winter wonderland perfection at the top of the mountain.Shoutout to the legends at for getting us up the winding roads safely and smoothly while we just sat back and enjoyed the views. No stress, just pure alpine magic! 🚌❄️
