A long & important story.
Our Dairy Farmers. Past. Present. Future. After working in Agriculture, dairy farmers have the most challenging job in the industry. All day, everyday. Rain, hail or shine. The majority in SA, even Australia, all hit that bottom low in the 2010 decade. With costs beyond profit. Unfortunately, the majority of small family farmers had to hang up their boots. Horrible time for many, mentally, after many generations. This cake celebrates the past farmers of Flaxely, that was nation known for its dairies.
Here in Flaxely/Mount Barker and surrounding areas, the subspecies clover 🍀 saved our farmers and built up the nutrition naturally. So this cake, has it all.
Farewell to the beautiful Kuchel Family from the area, but whom will always be there 😍🥰
Please support your local dairies, even if it costs that little bit extra, it always tastes better. Fresh is best. Milk, Cream, Butter, Cheese!!
